There is no doubt in the fact that the sense of smell is the one able to evoke memories. It’s said that the face of someone is remembered for 15 years; their smell is remembered a whole life.
Passing somebody wearing perfume in the middle of the street, passing a baker’s, walking along a village in the mountain…. the memory of that beloved one, that person we met in our childhood, or just the memory of our last holidays… come to our minds.

Smells evoke emotions and feelings and they do it in a delicate way. For instance, a nice a pleasant sensation is engraved in our brain related to a concrete smell. Magically, every time our sense of smell notices the smell, we have that pleasant sensation related to the smell back. And it remains like this for the remaining of our days.
